Privacy policy

Can't Complain is made by Andres Maier ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Can't Complain app.
The short version
We don't collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What stays on your phone
- The cards you've received, the ones you save and the ones you mark “I'm grateful”.
- Your settings: the time and days of your morning card and how hard the stories should hit.
This information is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
Notifications
The morning card is a local notification scheduled by the app on your phone. We don't use push servers and we don't receive any device identifier.
Sharing
When you share a card, the app creates an image and opens your iPhone's share sheet. Where it goes is up to you; the app doesn't see or keep a copy.
Children
The app doesn't collect data from anyone, including children. Some stories deal with war, disease and death.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
